John H. Shaffer papers, 1969-1973.

Collection contains John H. Shaffer's trip files, which contain correspondence, speeches by Shaffer, and itineraries regarding his business travel and speaking engagements. Collection also contains speech files, which contain annotated copies of Shaffer's speeches on numerous civil aviation issues of the late 1960s and early 1970s that he presented during his tenure as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration. A few of Shaffer's business correspondence files, which contain letters to and from members of the U.S. Congress, public officials, airline officials, and others regarding numerous aviation issues are in this collection as well.
